   AP Psychology

           

Course Objectives: 

Student will:

·        understand psychology as a science, including the techniques used and psychological perspectives;

·        demonstrate knowledge of the mind-body connection, including sensory processes and development;

·        explore thought, including learning, memory, cognition, and intelligence;

·        valuate theories of personality, motivation, and emotion in the development of self;

·        survey maladaptive behavior, stress, and adjustment; and

·        connect the power of the situation to individual behavior.

 

 

 

Grading Policy
  • Daily Assignments and Projects – 30%
  • Tests – 70%
  • Your semester exams are 1/9 of the total grade.  Everyone is required to take semester exams even if exempt.
