In order for a student to be considered an Honor Graduate from Pangburn High School, he/she must have a 3.5 cumulative (9th-12th grade) grade point average and have successfully completed (passed and received credit) for the following courses:

Math-Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Advanced Math

Science- Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

Foreign Language- French I and French II or Spanish I and Spanish II (2 credits in the SAME foreign language)

Any two of the following electives: Creative Writing, Business Law, Tiger Tones, Accounting, Computer Applications, Yearbook/Journalism

The above listed courses are in addition to the Core Curriculum as set by the Arkansas Department of Education:

4 Credits of English

3 Credits of Math (4 for college and university admittance in Arkansas)

3 Credits of Science (4 for college and university admittance in Arkansas)-(at least 1 unit of biology or its equivalent and 1 unit of a physical science)

3 Credits of Social Science (1 unit of world history, 1 unit of U.S. history, ½ unit of civics or government)

1 Credit of Health/Physical Education

1/2 Credit of Speech

1/2 Credits of Fine Arts
