Mrs. Regnier's science class was presented a check from Reaper Farms for their participation in the annual "Corn for Kids" program conducted by Jan Yingling of the White County Extension Service. The class received the profit from one acre of corn and voted to donate the money to the Humane Society of Searcy.

Layla Avery was awarded 2nd place in the high school division of Youth Art Month annual flag design contest. The competition includes Kindergarten through 12th grade from the entire state of Arkansas .
Teachers, family, and friends are welcome to celebrate the winners at the awards ceremony held at the Old Statehouse Museum on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 from 1:30-2:30. Student artwork will be on exhibit from February 29th - March 16th.

Pangburn Preschool is currently preparing for the 2024-25 school year. If you are interested in enrolling your 3 or 4 year old child, please contact Mrs. Tina at 728-4230 (Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm). Children must be age 3 by 8/1/2024.
State funding may be available for qualified applicants. Enrollment is based on a first come first serve basis.

Middle School Division is March 1st @ 9:00 a.m. and High School Division is March 2nd @ 9:30 a.m. Both will take place at the Hot Springs Convention Center.


January was School Board Member Recognition Month in Arkansas. School board members are community elected volunteers, who give countless hours to training, attending meetings, and making decisions in the interest of our students and staff with no compensation. We appreciate the men and women on our Pangburn School Board.
