Summer school students with perfect attendance or who were outstanding in their classes were acknowledged today for their hard work and dedication. We have one more day left (Thursday, 7/20), and students came home with instructions for how to be prepared for a water day celebration.

The Sr. High cheerleaders attended NCA cheer camp this week at Henderson State University. They received the spirit stick each night. They also earned 4 superior ribbons for their evaluations, the Technical Excellence award for formations, the Technical Excellence award for showmanship, the stunt S.A.F.E. award for excellent skills in stunt technique, and they also received a bid to compete in the National Championships! Alyssa Parrott, Brylie Butler, Savanna Bailey, Sarah Miller, Kenzie Womack, Machelle Altom, and Adrianna Garcia were nominated for All-American! Alyssa also received her senior ribbon. Congratulations girls! 📣❤️🐾

Attention Parents: We are thankful for the stylists that are giving to our community! We know back to school can be difficult financially. The Beauty Loft and the Pangburn Park & Rec is extremely excited to give back to our wonderful community! We will be offering FREE haircuts for children ages Pre-k - 12th grade at the Pangburn Park on August 5th, 2023 from 1:30-5:30 PM. Layton Montano will have his food truck Tacos a Toda Madre set up and serving to the public from 10:30 AM- 6:30 PM. 🌮 They will be available on doordash, ordering in person, online (link on Facebook page), or by calling 501-288-5595! Our Stylists are Jill Hester, Melanie Strayhorn, Bethany Shaw, Kailey Barnett, Brooklynn Poe (owner of The Beauty Loft), We are also teaming up with Nicole Davis (owner of Styles Salon in Pangburn.) Please make plans to come by and see us! We will be donating school supplies as well. If anyone would like participate or make any donations please contact Brooklynn Poe at 501-388-9251.
