Ms. Miner’s science classes are learning about electrical forces! Students learned that positive and negative charges attract, and like charges repel. They got to see this in action with a few experiments with balloons!

Mrs. Whitehead’s Food Safety and Nutrition class made salsa today in our first lab of the year. Students learned about reading recipes, measuring ingredients and the importance of "mise en place" (everything in its place).

Join our FCA students next week!

This week, the Tiger cross country team competed at the Race the Ridge at Crowley’s Ridge College. It was a tough & hilly course, but they came away with some success! Riley Farris won 1st place in the Jr. Girls race and Jaesha Smith placed 2nd in the Sr. Girls division. Riley Farris currently holds the course records for the 3200m run at Josh Park, the 2400m run at the Melbourne Bearkatz course, the 2400 M run at the Lyon College Invitational, and the 2 mile run at the Quitman Invitational. We are proud of all the Tiger Runners and their hard work!
