Plant Science class had a good produce harvest today. Spring cabbage is being started this week. Some of the boys are building extra planters so more produce can be grown this spring.

Mrs. Tharp's class built cars in class to calculate Newton's Second Law of Motion. An egg was placed in each car, then the students drove their cars down the ramp hoping their egg would not crack. Shout out to Mr. Harris's class for building the ramp!




Mrs. Reaper's Business Law class hosted a Mock Trial on Monday. The students who participated did a great job!

Congratulations to our Beta members who placed in the State Convention. Their placement earned them National qualification as well!

Two teams consisting of Skylar Haile, Eli Hodge, Annelisa Jones, Rylee Pitts, and Laejon Smith placed in Lead Outside the Box and Collaboration Connection




Mrs. Regnier's science class was presented a check from Reaper Farms for their participation in the annual "Corn for Kids" program conducted by Jan Yingling of the White County Extension Service. The class received the profit from one acre of corn and voted to donate the money to the Humane Society of Searcy.

Layla Avery was awarded 2nd place in the high school division of Youth Art Month annual flag design contest. The competition includes Kindergarten through 12th grade from the entire state of Arkansas .
Teachers, family, and friends are welcome to celebrate the winners at the awards ceremony held at the Old Statehouse Museum on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 from 1:30-2:30. Student artwork will be on exhibit from February 29th - March 16th.
